shi2_module can't locate API module structure

Nick,

Ubuntu is not an officially supported distribution and that module looks fairly old(2.5.3), so I wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t build on 16.04. I don’t know who made the last commitment, but it doesn’t look actively maintained to me.

Your best option would be to build from source if there is no maintained module.

Take care,
Nate.

Subject: shi2_module can't locate API module structure

Hello,

Has anyone else had this?

Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS

/etc/apache2/mods-enabled/shib2.load: Can't locate API module structure `shib2_module'

ii apache2 2.4.18-2ubuntu3.4 amd64 Apache HTTP Server
ii libapache2-mod-shib2 2.5.3+dfsg-2.1build1 amd64 Federated web single sign-on system (Apache module)

Or should I enable this another way, not using a2enmod shib2?

Regards,
Nick
