Cannot start Shib SP service or execute shibd.exe -check on windows box

Thanks for all of the reply's. Basically the "STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_PATH "The network path cannot be located. lead me to look at the path statement again and there was a network path listed there that was no longer valid before the 2 shib path statements thus keeping shib from finding its library's. Everything is working again once I removed that bad path statement.

Everything it needs it comes with, for the moment. Microsoft seems to be determined to make that impossible going forward, and then things will get worse, but for now it's self contained.

Usually that's caused by a conflicting DLL but I've eliminated most of the conflicting names, so that's less likely now.
