Thanks Scott. Yes we only use it just for the basics of testing, but it has worked out well for us so far.

I think what might be happening is that testshib is using our old metadata for that IdP. I'll see what we can do about this.

Testshib is not the way to test a production IdP, but be that as it may, SPs use the metadata, that's it. You must control your metadata and hand-curate it so where it redirects is entirely up to you and has nothing to do with any installer.

What the initial metadata provided as a sample contains is based on the value entered in the installer of course.
