Last week I convened a session on SAML proxy options at tiimeworkshop.eu. Proceedings are not yet available, but in a nutshell:
- CSC (Finland) added stuff on top of Shibboleth IDP to make it a proxy:
https://github.com/Digipalvelutehdas/MPASSid-proxy <https://github.com/Digipalvelutehdas/MPASSid-proxy>
- SaToSa is a dedicated proxy product with commitments from several organizations, based on python:
https://github.com/SUNET/SATOSA
- SSP is a live and useful product (although I do not like its monolithic config files):
https://github.com/simplesamlphp/simplesamlphp/graphs/contributors
- There are other proxy implementations as well, such as Corto, Gluu, Larpe and WSo2
Best regards

I have checked G suite which supports SAML but seems like it only supports custom domain and a user cannot use its private Gmail account and similarly facebook implementation is not straightforward.
