WebDav with Shibboleth

Seems I misread Confluence's page "diff". That invalid XML comment
within the SessionInitiator element has been there from the very
beginning:

Seemingly I tried to fix that invalid XML in v7:
https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/pages/diffpagesbyversion.action?pageId=6193694&selectedPageVersions=7&selectedPageVersions=6
but for reasons I cannot recall I reverted this again (to v6) in
v9. (I.e., it's now broken as it always was.)

So the change from v6 to v8 possibly now should be rebased on the
current version (v15)?
