Interesting. Well, we've already determined their documentation sucks. I'll have to try removing that exception and seeing if it still works. I tried without it at first, but that was still when I had the wrong name configured for the attribute on the SP side, and disabling the encryption was one of the steps we took along the path to figuring that out.

The version you used probably did not have the SingleLogout binding, that was just added in the most recently released version... Assuming my install still works after I remove the encryption exception, tuning up the SingleLogout binding syntax errors will be the only special case handling it will have needed in the end. Hmm, yep, does seem to support encryption. Not sure why the documentation says it doesn't.
