JVM startup parameters in start.ini for Program Files (x86)

We keep getting Java heap memory errors in our logs, so I need to increase max memory for Java. I understand this needs to be done in start.ini under Jetty base. We used the packaged Windows installer including Jetty for our deployment, which defaults to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Shibboleth\IdP".

Our issue in start.ini is -Didp.home. We're uncertain of how this needs to be formatted for "C:\Program Files (x86)\Shibboleth\IdP" and all current attempts have failed. We've tried several different iterations(forward slashes, back slashes, single quotes, double quotes, etc.), but no success.

We've found that if a symbolic link is created without special characters, we can set -Didp.home successfully using the symlink. We've also found the registry keys that hold the values for the IdP Daemon config utility(shibd_idpw.exe). We're deploying our IdP in an automated way, so we'd like to avoid manually setting things ourselves such as in shibd_idpw.exe. If no one has any suggestions about the formatting I might be able to use in start.ini to be successful, I'll just use one of the workarounds we've found already and maybe those might help someone else searching through the archives.

Thanks
