iOS authenticating to MS Exchange server with Shib IdP ?

We're trying to satisfy our iOS users' wish to configure their Exchange
email client to connect to a mail system which is doing federated
authentication using our Shib v3 IdP.  From

using Shib IdP to authenticate Exchange clients connecting to Microsoft
Azure via ADFS is supported.

Next question, our SP is not Azure and ADFS is nowhere in the mix.  Is
anyone successfully authenticating iOS Exchange mail configs via Shib to
other SPs ?
