SpelEvaluationException when SP logs in to Shibboleth IDP

I encountered it from the breadcrumbs in conf/authn/password-authn-config.xml

I don't recall exactly how I hit the error, but I was most certainly fiddling around with bean names as I was trying to circumvent that feature, so it's completely plausible.
