This is very helpful.

> Build dates and hosts, signing dates, and dependencies are different.

That makes sense.  The base OS is different, so each of those should change.  This removes my worry about the SRPM's.

I'll give this application 3 options:

1)  Build from source code (or SRPM)
2)  Use the .deb packages
3)  Change OS
