Shibboleth on Oracle HTTP Server

Currently we are using shibboleth with Oracle HTTP Server (OHS).  The Oracle's HTTP Server is a variant of Apache 2.2.

We are now migrating to the latest version of Oracle HTTP Server, which is a variant of Apache 2.4.

I have installed the latest version of shibboleth from
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/security:/shibboleth/RHEL_6/

The latest version of shibboleth.x86_64 0:2.5.3-1.1.el6 comes with mod_shib_22.so, which I believe doesn't work with Apache 2.4.

Do you have any idea when mod_shib_24.so will be distributed with shibboleth ?

Is it possible to build mod_shib_24.so from source ?
