What about in the case (that is identified in the docs), when SPs need
to make artifact queries to the IdP?  That's pretty clearly the kind
of thing where this is needed in a cluster.  Don't be overly literal
and say that this question is specifically about "SP sessions",
because it's obvious the meaning is the need for any related storage
to make a cluster work correctly.  Or are those scenarios not expected
to be used in a modern setup?
