ISAPI filter with Active Directory

Although I think it's pretty safe to say that support for this would largely be outside of the scope of this list, Microsoft does have a helpful document on using the Shibboleth Service Provider using ADFS as the identity provider.

We are trying to make some classic ASP applications SAML-aware. I came across Shibboleth ISAPI filters for IIS. I have a few questions:


1)      Can the ISAPI filter be used against Active Directory, or does it only work for Shibboleth Identity Manager product?

2)      Does the filter implement SAML 2?

3)      Is the filter open source?

4)      Is there licensing fee associated with the ISAPI filter?
