Going from memory: For access from pocket calulators ("apps" for
"mobile" devices) they spin up a web browser (or an embedded window,
so you don't even see where you're sending the credentials to), which
using a phrase from Scott you could call "the phishiest of all
options".
I think you can also set an application-specific password after
federated login and use that for further non-WebSSO access, but that
never expires (at least it didn't a while back).

So nothing new, exiting or noteworthy here.
