Can I provision 2 Apache servers with the same <Extensions>?

Hi Folks,

I am in the process of migrating MANY (Apache) virtual hosts
on my Apache server "galaxy" to a new system (new hardware,
new OS), "devil". To minimize the impact on running services,
I am migrating them to "devil" one at a time.

Can the shib metadata for "devil" include hosts in the
<Extensions> clause that duplicate similar entries in
"galaxy"?

Or will I have to change the metadata for both hosts
synchronously with Apache configuration - Ouch.
