Shibboleth SP Version 2.5.6

I am having problems with hyperlinks in Microsoft office products. I am wondering if someone could help me with this.

I followed the fix as documented in:
https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/SHIB2/Tips+on+Integrating+Things#TipsonIntegratingThings-MicrosoftWordClickableLinks

For the most part the fix works, except for a nagging error page.

This is what I did:

In shibboleth2.xml I have added: outgoingBindings="urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:bindings:HTTP-POST"

            <SessionInitiator type="Chaining" Location="/Login" isDefault="true" id="Intranet"
                    relayState="cookie" entityID="https://pingd.blahblahblah.com/idp"
                    acsByIndex="false" outgoingBindings="urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:bindings:HTTP-POST">
                <SessionInitiator type="SAML2" acsIndex="1" template="bindingTemplate.html"/>
                <SessionInitiator type="Shib1" acsIndex="5"/>
            </SessionInitiator>

After adding the above, when I click on a link from MS word document, two browser sessions show up. One with SSO login page and a second one indicating an error. After I supply the credentials in SSO login page the page behind the URL displays. The part is fine. However, the browser session that indicates the error bothers me. I am wondering if there is any way to suppress this. Following is the content of the error page:

Unexpected System Error
Sorry for the inconvenience. Please contact your administrator for assistance and provide the reference number below to help locate and correct the problem.
Reference#: qfitvl

The behavior is not consistent. The above error page shows up sometimes and it doesn't at other times. I could not figure out the condition that make the error page show.

Thanks in advance for your help in this regard.
