Attribute Query: request for specific attributes

Greetings,

Trying to federate a non-shib SP with a shibboleth v2.3.8 IdP.  It looks like the SP is trying to request specific attributes via Attribute Query which the IdP does not support:


11:08:24.622 - WARN [edu.internet2.middleware.shibboleth.idp.profile.saml2.AttributeQueryProfileHandler:102] - Specific attributes requested in query 'https://mysp.myfqdn.org'. This functionality is not yet supported10.0.0.3|

I tried searching the archives but could not find any references to this warning.  Is this something newer versions of shib IdP support, or if not is this feature on the roadmap?
