I mean interchangeably using either the RequestMap or with a "ShibRequestSetting applicationId" command in Apache, they're equivalent for the purposes of the question.

Calling things "c2" in multiple places or using that name in one place and a path named that somewhere else means nothing. It doesn't make any assumptions about that implying anything.
