I think one source of the communication issue is that you're only (?)
reading the digest (i.e., collection) of mailing lis posts, not
recieving them as they are posted.
I.e., you fire off questions, we try to answer them, only to see yet
more questions from you that we already commented on before.

So I would suggest limiting yourself to 1 question per digest (where
the replies should be) /or/ change your mailman subscription back to
the default of recieving everything immediately.
