That isn't a correct change, and the error is because of you having made it. Changing the properties is all that's required.

The generator wraps the strategy. Same generator, same bean. The strategies are all buried inside a system file and changing the properties changes the ones that are used. Mostly it's historical because of how the V2 code was written and the need to have the same code working for the legacy attribute resolver connectors.
