replacing jetty's default favicon display?

Sorry this is not a purely Shibboleth question, but as Jetty is recommended
in Shibb documentation, I'm hoping one of you can provide a quick solution
to the display of the ugly default favicon.png on IdP pages served up by V3
IdP running in Jetty.

I've found proposed solutions that include adding a line to every web page
to indicate a favicon.png, but would hate to do that and then track such
customization indefinitely. There is no corresponding favicon.png file that
I found (only a RedHat favicon that isn't being used).

What's the trick?
