You can attach an activationCondition property to the bean that's configuring the c14n method in the file whose name escapes me at the moment, but you named the attribute(s) to use in it and uncommented the bean.

See [1] for examples of conditions, but it's very open ended. Doing it based on SP is very simple, but I don't know if that's applicable.
