Banner ERP using Shibboleth IdP?

One of our campuses wants to take advantage of SSO in their Banner system.
Apparently, Ellucian ships it's own wso2 base SAML IdP.

Anyone know if Banner can be configured to use a third party SAML IdP (i.e.
Shibboleth) instead?
