rch99, what you fail to mention are any concrete issues, expected
vs. observed bahaviour, intensions/use-cases or any other thing you'd
usually send to a technical support mailing list for open source
software.
Also it will help if you point out what part of the documentatio you
have read and used (and how, with examples from your config).

Wrt compliance, I doubt that re-authenticating with username/password
alone will make anything complinant with any regulations worth
implementing, but YMMV, of course.
