Shibboleth Reauthentication

Hello, 

This subject has been talked about in various posts and recommendations made
and references inferred, however, we have been unable to make heads or tails
of the various bits of information leading to the proper configuration of
the SP or other parts leading to properly making this occur. 

What we need is a link that points us to some archive of the information
that contains this. We have attempted to duplicate the situation based on
the input of others experiencing the issue but have been unable to
specifically identify what is required to meet our objective. 

We are able to successfully authenticate to our IdP from our SP. What we are
having issue with, is what is necessary to accomplish when a user is
presented with a specific situation (such as an e-signature requirement). An
elevated condition that forces a user to provide his/her credentials again. 

We have tried the suggested forceAuthn routes in the list here, as well as
other things. 

We need some sort of definitive resolve to setting up the environment to
support this in a compliance-based scenario. (we believe this to be a fairly
common need, but apparently not)

There has been mention of "this has been covered and is in archive, and is
in wiki." Well, we have been unable to find a place where this is "clearly
identified" as how to properly configure. Most references are vague and do
not properly convey the necessary information.  

Any help or a link that may help properly configure an environment to
support this would be of great benefit. We would appreciate any guidance. We
have spent hours combing this and other sites looking for this information.
