You really don't, not if you want to maintain any sanity.

The SP sends requests with an extension to tell the IdP to skip returning to the SP at the end. If you want to get control back and make use of a return parameter when the logout is started, set the asynchronous option to false in the <Logout> element.

If that were true, then you would have to be using the asynchronous=false option and you would just need to add the return parameter to whatever is initiating the logout.
