You don't mention what DS, but the key point is that your metadata changes
need to be available to the DS.  So if it’s a CDS make sure that your
federation has your metadata, if it's an EDS make sure that the SP has it.
In the EDS case I'd also force a reload of that page since some browsers
hang on to things longer than one might want.
