I did some analysis and I don't believe that vt-ldap and ldaptive aren't
affected for the configurations that ship with the IDPs. There is actually
a bug in the code that would cause an NPE if anyone configured things in a
manner that would exercise the getPeerHost() weirdness. I did file an
issue[1] to remove that functionality as it is not used internally by
ldaptive and only existed to help with testing.
