Windows Installation problem

I am trying to install Shibboleth IdP v3 using the Windows installer (shibboleth-identity-provider-3.1.1.2-x64.msi) on a clean Windows 2012 server with Java installed on it.
During installation I ask it to install Jetty and LDAP and it appears to proceed fine (no error) however when I then go to configure Jetty, I cannot find any ..\jetty-base folder. I can only find a ..\demo-base folder. It does not appear the windows installation program is not doing and setup or configuration as it mentions in the documentation. Also no 'IDP_HOME' is set either.
Am I doing something wrong?
PS. 'JAVA_HOME' set to 'c:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_45\jre'
