Not sure what "SAP NW Gateway" and "SAP ECC" are, but for the
NetWeaver Business Client (both phat client and "for HTML") there seem
to be plenty of documents available from SAP, e.g.

There's nothing specific for SAP in the Shibboleth documentation, it
applies to integration with any SAML SP.
Of course you don't mention /any/ technical detail, not even the
version of the IDP you're trying to use.

Your Shib IDP will need SAML metadata describing the SAML SP.
If the IDP's default settings do not interoperate with that SP you'd
then need to make specific changes in the IDP configuration for that
SP.
