Is it possible to test service provider from localhost?

I installed Serveice provider and try to reacht idp in the testshib. I didn't install idp.

With the default IdP install, SAML protocol works through the browser and hence your local end point need not be exposed to the internet. However, ensure the
end point url that testshib is trying to reach is correct.
Additionally, if you are accessing idp through a custom port, make sure your idp-metadata.xml file is generated with the correct port (idp-metadata.xml is generated
during initial setup and the port info is captured as part of this process). If it is not generated with the correct port, you will have to regenerate the metadata file and upload it again to testshib. Hope this helps!
