Microsoft Office 365 Pro Plus with Shibboleth IdP SAH256

We are planning to offer Microsoft Office 365 Pro Plus for students.
Recently we moved our IdP from SHA1 to SHA256. 
I read some posts that Office 365 does not support SHA256.
Has anybody successfully connected to Office 365 Pro Plus through shibboleth using SHA256?
