Apache/Shib Failure in Yosemite

Greetings.

I’ve been successfully running a local copy of Shibboleth on Mac OS X for several months now (for development purposes).  I recently upgraded the Mac OS to the latest version of Yosemite.  Since then, I’ve found that I now have an Apache configuration error that is not allowing Apache or Shibboleth to start in this environment.


Cannot load /opt/local/lib/shibboleth/mod_shib_22.so into server: dlopen(/opt/local/lib/shibboleth/mod_shib_22.so, 10): Symbol not found: _ap_log_error\n  Referenced from: /opt/local/lib/shibboleth/mod_shib_22.so\n  Expected in: flat namespace\n in /opt/local/lib/shibboleth/mod_shib_22.so


Does anyone have any insight into how to fix the problem?
