My experience has been strongly negative with vendors that need that kind
of help. It leads to very unreliable systems later on because they don't
have the staff to support the solution. We had one case that actually did
it in house then punted it out to a contractor who also had no skills and
they ended up paying me for consulting time to fix a system OSU needed to
get working again.

I generally push a non-SSO option if I strongly believe the vendor can't
be trusted to do it.
