The Shib SP documentation applies to interop with any SAML IDP, so if
you have SAML metadata for your SAML IDP, you can use it with the SP
and that'll be sufficient for run-time configuration, noting else
required.
If you don't know how to generate/create SAML metadata describing some
other software product's supported (and deployed) features and
protocol endpoints you'd have to ask the vendor of that product.
