Newbie question

Sorry for my previous post....

Sorry for my stupid question but let me explain my requirement here:

we have a web application which runs on Tomcat 7/ Wweblogic/ Websphere etc
web servers. Now we want to implement Single Sign On for this our app along
with other web apps. Now do we need to install the identity provider (IdP),
and service provider (SP) both for simple implementation?

I am have already installed Idp and it seems responding correctly. Now
while I am trying to install SP with Aapache Web Server it does not respond
normally.

I need to help and direction on this.
