Supported is a fairly nebulous concept, but AFAIK, the only public example
of that is probably one that Wisconsin did. I hacked up my own from the
Confluence one, but I don't know what shape the UW one is in.

No, Crowd is a dead end. The integration with Jira is not with Crowd, it's
done very similarly to Confluence, with some very ugly low level
differemces.
