Maintained Plugin for Shibbolized JIRA

Sorry for bringing this old topic back for another flogging, but by my search of the archives, it's been two years, so I guess it's time.

Is there a supported implementation and distribution of something like the Confluence HTTP Authenticator for JIRA?

I can't find one off-hand, and one referred to in archived threads here times out on me.  Apparently that one was heavily based on the Confluence plug-in.

I don't know if this is considered supported, though, or whether the 2.5 distribution works with more recent releases of Crowd.
