I've got a validation script that's pretty straightforward.

I've got a script to assemble conf files from smaller pieces, but I'm not
totally happy with it.  It seems to depend on the namespace behavior of the
most recent libxml2 and how it "recovers" broken xml.

I'm willing to share what I've done.  They need work.  Contact me off list.
