Moodle with Shibboleth auth - can i protect content without accessing auth/shibboleth/index.php?

Yes, If I recall … in the moodle login configuration you set the “alternate” login page to the "/auth/shibboleth/index.php” location. That will force the moodle login routine to use shib. As Peter I don’t have the config pages right in front of me but you can do what you are asking.. with a combo of the sp and the plugin.
