Hi,

We are planning to upgrade our Shib IdP infrastructure. I have some idea about this after reading the wiki and the shib-users list. Would love to hear from those who are already operating in production. Please see under Planned below.
Sorry to repeat if it has been answered already.
Current operating environemnt:
IdP - 2.3.2, Java - Oracle Java 6, Tomcat - Tomcat 6 , OS - Redhat Linux 6.0 32-bit, Clustering - Terracotta 3.2.1

Planned:
IdP - 2.4.0, Java - Oracle Java 7, Tomcat - Tomcat 7, OS - Redhat Linux 6.0 64-bit, Clustering - TBD. Debating whether to go stateless or use some clustering solution.

Based on my understanding...
Tomcat 7 - Client certification validation is not optimal under Tomcat 7. It should not be an issue for us, our IdP is fronted by Apache httpd anyway.
Clustering - There is no support for Terracotta DSO under Java 7. We have to use an alternate clustering solution or go Stateless which has some features limitations.

thanks,
Datta
