Better approach to do Authorization in shibboleth

>From the Shibboleth versioning policy I would assume that this will
work just fine on 2.4 (i.e., no APIs removed within a major version).
Either test it yourself or ask the friendly folks making the extension
available (contact details given in the Shibboleth wiki, on the page
Contributions, for each contribution).
