Better approach to do Authorization in shibboleth

Hello @Andrew, Thank you for the RESTful web-service link, I have
downloaded it and going to use this extension in my application.It is
clearly saying that "This version of the connector is for shib version
2.3.x" but we are using shibboleth Idp (2.4), Will it useful for us?
