Where can i find the performance evaluation results for the shibboleth

Hi All,
One of the potential customer plans to use the shibboleth for their SSO project which involes the integration of their internal applications.
The key concern is the performance of the shibboleth, since the TPS for their applications is around 5000TPS. 

So anyone can tell me where I can find any docs about the shibboleth performance, or you have tested it before.
