Pro & Cons of Shibboleth Authentication for Office 365

It's the Lync and Office clients, I believe. Lync for sure. Those are WS-Trust only (the actual use of WST being proprietary and undocumented).

The Outlook/Exchange stuff supports SAML ECP, though not in the way one would prefer from a password protection point of view.
