Paul,

The most likely cause of this error is that you configured login.config to talk to your LDAP server, but you forgot to change handler.xml to use the UserPass authentication system rather than the default REMOTE_USER.

Does anyone have any thoughts?  Do I need to change the authentication type.  Right now it is using LDAP.
