Shibboleth and Office 365

Dear all,

does anyone have experiences with Shibboleth IdP and Office 365 that 
they'd like to share?

I'm contemplating setting up Shibboleth IdP with Office 365 for 
Education at a Danish university-like institution, but since I'm aware 
of a few limitations with this setup, namely the limited application 
support within the Office 365 application portfolio (basically mail and 
calendar supported online and on the desktop through enhanced client 
protocol, ECP) , I'd like to know if anyone has any specific input for 
me to take into consideration before deciding on ADFS vs SAML . . .
