RedHat 6 IdP Install

We also happily use Redhat 6 in production - here's a install guide which covers off getting the right Java packages etc and generally results in a successful install, http://wiki.aaf.edu.au/tech-info/identity-provider/idp-install-guide-2-3-8

Those particular messages that you posted unfortunately do not say anything about the cause, just that it has failed. Sometimes when I have had failed starts like that - I don't see anything in the idp-process log, but there are Exception messages in Tomcat's localhost.[YYYY-MM-DD].log that prove to be most helpful

Cheers
Aaron
