Make sure you have configured Shibboleth to allow access to that page from your monitor server. By default, it's restricted to localhost.

I would like to know if using the https://localhost/Shibboleth.sso/Status us a good way to know if Shibboleth/IIS are working correctly. We have a brand new default install of Shibboleth SP 2.5.2 and are getting and HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found error when browsing that site.
