It's nice to be reminded once in a while that vendors like you deal with
that nonsense just like I do with SPs. Easy to forget it goes both ways.

Well, there'd be metadata errors in shibd.log if there were a metadata
loading issue is what I meant. I am surprised that there's nothing there
for this error though. I really have some problems logging exceptions
properly. I get too worried about double logging and end up with zero.
